Comparison
Treasury vs HubSpot
HubSpot is a platform for a marketing department. Treasury is a CRM for a small team closing high value deals on the phone and on WhatsApp, and it is priced for that team.
The claim
HubSpot puts WhatsApp on its third tier and bills every seat. Treasury has WhatsApp on the first tier and never counts seats.
Side by side
Treasury and HubSpot
HubSpot figures are from HubSpot's own published price page, converted at EUR 1 to USD 1.09.
The cliff
Starter is cheap until you need the product
HubSpot's most-cited complaint is the step from Starter to Professional, and WhatsApp is on the far side of it. Starter has no WhatsApp and no sequences. Professional has both, at EUR 83 per seat and a one-time onboarding fee of USD 1,500.
A five person team that wants to message clients on WhatsApp pays EUR 413 a month there and EUR 79 here, and here the sequences, the automation, the roles and the reporting are in the same figure.
Restraint
A smaller product on purpose
Treasury is a working CRM, not a demo, and it is restrained on purpose: built for a small team closing high value deals on the phone, not for a feature comparison. There is no marketing suite, no content management, no service desk.
That is a real trade. If you need attribution across paid channels, a content platform and a service desk in one login, HubSpot is the honest answer and you should buy it.
Honestly
Where HubSpot is ahead
Marketplace breadth, native calling, marketing attribution, enterprise permissions, and the best mobile apps of anyone we looked at. Its reporting is mature in a way ours is not yet.
It is also the safe choice, and for some buyers that is worth the price on its own.
Asked and answered
Questions
- Is Treasury a HubSpot alternative for a property team?
- For the sales half, yes, and at roughly a fifth of the price once WhatsApp is in scope. For the marketing half, no. Treasury does not do marketing.
- Does Treasury connect to Facebook and Instagram lead ads?
- Yes, natively, on both directions: forms land in the right brand's pipeline in seconds, and the outcome of the lead is sent back to Meta so the ad optimises for buyers rather than for form fillers.
- Is there an onboarding fee?
- No. There is no self-serve tier either. Every account is set up with you, at no charge, and the first conversation is about how your business actually runs.
- Can Treasury hold several brands the way HubSpot holds one portal?
- Yes. That is the mechanism the whole product is built on. Each brand has its own users, records, templates, domain and sender, and nothing leaks between them.
